Volunteer for the Wild with the Grand Canyon Wildlands Council! Our volunteer program focuses on education through fun and rewarding restoration projects. We offer education in the field and help our volunteers to apply this knowledge directly on-the-ground to conserve the land, native species, and natural processes of the places we all enjoy recreationally. Educational topics on these volunteer trips include the effects of nonnative species on ecosystem processes, ways to contribute to the health and security of the environment, restoration techniques, safety in the outdoors, and Leave No Trace camping ethics, among other things. We also provide a safe and fun environment led by experienced Grand Canyon Wildlands Council personnel, and include a complete field kitchen, bathroom facilities, and food and water on most overnight trips.
