Networks of people, protecting networks of
land...
We believe that the conservation community is
strongest when it works together and when we
reach out to other communities of people. Grand
Canyon Wildlands Council is always looking for
ways to do this. At this time we are part of
several collaborative efforts with other
conservation groups, public agencies, and
others:
Arizona Strip Monument Team
Arizona Wilderness Coalition
Discussion group to sustain America's lion--the
mountain lion (Felis concolor, the puma
or cougar)
Colorado River in Grand Canyon, collaboration to
influence the Adaptive Management Program for
operation of Glen Canyon Dam.
Glen and Grand Canyon Riparian Restoration
Grand
Canyon Wolf Recovery Project
We will have more
information about these projects in these pages,
so check back, or contact us if you have
questions. |
